I am unsure if that changed recently. I will send an @ message to AlexK and see if he knows... otherwise we can ask Xandrex as he knows everything.

My understanding was that the validation took place over the BIS network via carrier but the file download was over wifi.

Im sure we will get an official update at some point.

*Update*
I just received a message from Alex Kinsella and he stated that it CAN be done via wifi as long as cellular data is turned on.

I would assume this is 100% accurate as it is his program Smiley Tongue

sorry Raelic, I did not know. Remember I'm almost like a Wi-Fi virgin.
and my BES admins just enforced the IT policy so that I cannot even use the HotSpot browser anymore!
