App World and Email Problems

I have been using a blackberry Torch 9800 at Asia Manila and recently moved back home in South Africa but have a few problems. I have activated my BIS and my BBM is working but my App world and Facebook for blackberry is not working i receive this error massage"Blackberry App World is having trouble connecting to the blackberry App world server. Verify your network connections and try again" have tried a million times same error. Can it be that i need to upgrade software to SA's one if so do you have a link for me or what do i need to do?

Hopefully one of the results will contain something useful! There also are multiple existing threads on this site that discuss that exact error...your review of those might prove useful, and a search of this site, using the error message, error code, or symptom, should reveal all applicable existing threads to you.

No...the OS's all originate at RIM, and are only tailored a little by each carrier. The issues you report have nothing to do with not having your carriers specifically released OS package installed.
