Verizon Curve 8330

This didn't work for me -- all it did was force me to have to pull the battery twice -- any other thoughts?

Re: This kind of service is unacceptable

I tries the ALT RST solution and it clears the stuck apps, hoever it still will not download apps.  It is not the carrier network since email and the browser work just fine.

Re: This kind of service is unacceptable

Here is an update.  This morning I tried downloading a free app again.  It appeared stuck.  I click on it and noticed the bytes downloaded had increased.  Clicked on app again.  Once again it appeared there was no progress, however when I paused it more bytes were downloaded.  After doing this about 3-4 times the app finally downloaded to completion.  It seems like pausing and resuming the download must 'kick' something to restart the download.  This was with two bars on the signal meter, also email and browser work just fine.

Re: App World download stuck for days

I was having the same problem so i spent an hour rebooting my i tried everything but i finally figured it out. It had automatically logged me out, so all i had to do was log back into my papal account by pressing the application button (menu button) and clicking log in, the download started right back up.
