I have done some reading up on this issue.
Apparently it's mostly an issue related to Vodacom, because their network gives alot of issues with Blackberrys and this interrupts the download which results in the problem.
I am going to try and connect to wi-fi somewhere sometime, because I have uninstalled and reinstalled AppWorld so many times with no success....
I found a link on blackberry.com which might help some other people.

LOL I wish I knew where good signal was, because it seems my signal at work isn't good enough either...
So I will try the wi-fi option as soon as I can find someone with wi-fi lol.
I will let you know if that works

Yeah, vodacom has given me alot of issues, I have made many complaints about it...without any solutions...
I just tried connecting to the wi-fi at work, but there were issues so I gave up.
Seems I will never get my AppWorld back again!
Hopefully Vodacom decides to fix their dam issues so us BB users can use our phones properly for a change!

After much frustration and issues, I have gotten my AppWorld to work with the following solution:
Note: Once completed, revert APN settings back to normal.
