App World "Purchase Not Found"

Hi, so I recently purchased the Bold 9700 from AT&T and everything is going great - until I downloaded and tried using App World.  I can download all the Free apps from App World, but when I try to purchase one with my Paypal account, it gives me an error message and then a nice red text warning in the "My World" section that says "Purchase Not Found."  It doesn't matter what category or type of app I try to purchase, it constantly gives me the same exact message.  I have tried deleting and rebooting, then installing and rebooting, and the My World section doesn't even clear, much less get rid of the error message.  I have also tried the "sign in" function under "My World" and it says my "purchases were reconciled" but the "Purchase Not Found" warning remains.  HELP!  How in the heck do you purchase an download an app using this thing!?!?!?

Try this:
1. Open App World
2. Go to My World
3. For keyboard-based BB's -- Hold down the ALT key and press "RST"
4. If your BB locks after issuing the cache clear, perform a battery pull reboot

Thanks for the reply - I tried this, but to no avail.

 

I also tried pulling the battery...nada.

 

Are you sure BB App World work on AT&T Bold 9700?  AT&T hasn't locked it somehow, have they?  I know they locked access to BB Maps, I'm just wondering if they did the same with App World to force people to use AT&T Mall?

No, AT&T has not done that.

Any other ideas as to what I can do concerning the "Purchase Not Found" error message?  Blackberry has yet to answer my technical support query in the past 24 hours as promised, and I even tried to completely wipe and reload the OS, and the BB App World still won't download a paid app.  Any other ideas as to what I could try?  Thanks again for the replies and the help!

Does anyone have any more ideas what I can try at this point?

 

Is there something I have to do to link my blackberry phone to the paypal account, like an additional security feature that I'm missing?  I ask because I know my username/password are correct, and it accepts them, but then acts as though the payment never went through.  What am I missing here!?!?
