App world Wont show as a Icon on my Blackberry Bold 9780

Hey what's up?

I have a problem in my Blackberry Bold 9780. My app world requested a update, so i did, and after restarting my phone it disappeared. So i deleted it and re installed it. Still nothing shows up. I decided to go in the Application Management to see if the app was installed properly. I was, but the Resourecs type was on CPU and the Now option was  "Not running". I wiped my phone and Tried re-installing the app world, but the same thing happens.

Can someone plz help me?

AppWorld versions and .65 upgrades have a known issue one some OSv6 devices in now showing the AW icon. See this RIM Knowledge Base article on the issue:

My recommendation that's working for users, is to follow the Resolution #1 in the link.

  1. Open the BlackBerry Browser on the BlackBerry smartphone.
  2. Browse to http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=appworld3
  3. After download, please restart your BlackBerry smartphone when prompted.
  4. Verify that BlackBerry App World is located on the home screen.
