App world error: telling me I should upgrade to a browsing plan?

I downloaded the app world to my bb bold (through the phone's browser), and when I try to access it, I get the following error: "Upgrade your service to a plan that includes browsing and discover a world of possibilities at Blackberry App World.  Contact your service provider for more details"


I have a plan that includes browsing...otherwise I wouldn't have been able to download App World from my phone's browser, right?

well, if I were you I would simply contact your service provider and explain that you cannot use App World. Why not do that directly?

the explanation is that some carriers give a browsing access using only their own conduit, excluding all other form of internet (like the one required for BlackBerry App). Vodafone France does that for example, requiring an additional subscription.
