App world ver 4.0.0.63 issues

Hi I use bold 9780. I upgraded my app world to ver 4.0.0.63 n after rebooting the icon disappeared. I deleted it n installed an older version of app world. But after a few days I again upgraded my app world n still the same issue is there. So Can I never upgrade my app worLd? Will RIM never fix this bug? Any odr solution someone has to offer? Thanx in advance. Really need help on this

The older version of App World will also offer all features as the updated one , not much difference within those two version.I think you should remain on that older version untill RIM releases a newer version with all fixes,I am sure RIM is working hard on it .So just wait and enjoy that previous version of app world.

after installing the older version all my previously installed apps stopped showing in d app world. They r der in the phone n I can use them but they don't appear under the 'installed apps' heading in d older version of app world. Also since the app world cant b upgraded cos of bugs , it's not going to show any upgrades to our already installed apps !

Hi Angelic

 

 

 If you are unable to see your Installed Apps on App World when using Older version then try this :

 

On your Homescreen > Open App World – Go to MY World –

  • Keyboard based – Hold down the ALT key and then type RST
  • App World shall Close

KB24714 How to clear the BlackBerry App World cache

 

Then Perform a Battery Pull Restart like this While your Device is POWERED ON  remove the Battery wait for a min. then re-insert it back wait till the device take a long Reboot.

 

So please try this and see if  your installed applications appears on App World

.
