Application Label Name

Can really use help with this one. New Bold 9700. When you roll over any application icon that is web based, the application label name says Browser rather then for example, media net, facebook, etc. The only icon that should say browswer is in deed the browser app itself.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Michael

Re: Application Label Name

Those must be indeed browser shortcuts.

Where'd they come from? The developer would need to handle that.

Re: Application Label Name

The icons are the standard preloaded icons for access to Media Net, Yellowpages.com Mobile, Cellulr Video, AT&T Mall, etc.

On my Blackberry Bold 9000, the name displays when you rollover the icon. On the Blackberry Bold 9700, when you rollover the icon, it just says Browser for all of the web based icons.

Re: Application Label Name

Odd. Well they actually just browser/web shortcuts anyway, but I haven't seen that before, all called browser.

Well, as with anything Blackberry, do a reboot and see it corrects itself first:  With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
