Application Memory full?

I'm trying to install/update software on my Storm (version 1) but the Desktop Manager just hangs not updating anything but my frustration. I click the update button and there is no response, no dialogue saying I'm out of space, nothing. But when I leave Desktop Manager it says 'There are still updates awaiting updating. Do I want to quit anyway?' I say no, click update and nothing happens. What gives? The phone isn't super loaded with apps. At the bottom is a space bar saying "Exceeded available space by 0 bytes".

Any ideas?

Yes!..i've had the same problem until yestersay!, i've deleted some applications which i really don't need and cleaned up browser histories and so on! now it works faster and can install new applications!

Try to delete whatever you didn't use the last couple of months!
