Applications Google Map, Viber, Nimbuzz not working

Internet, BBM, Whatsapp, Y! messenger are working on my BB. However, I can't see Maps Icon even if it is there. Installed Google Maps, Viber, Nimbuzz but they are not connecting to net.

 

Viber and Nimbuzz connects with Wifi but not thru Mobile network

 

Google Maps; Error msg;

Network Unavailable: This application requires a data connection and some Blackberry devices require reconfiguration to work properly. Please visit www.google.co.uk/gmm on your computer for more info.

 

Can anyone help me on these issues? Called Operator support but in vein. they say internet and BBM working properly so this issues are related handset.

Is it normal to wait for more than 10 hours to get a reply or Technical Advisors thinks my query is not worth of even

Please check with your provider that you have full access to Viber on your plan (some providers might block VoIP access on some plans).

Hi makrab,

You need to have BlackBerry data plan for access those apps via mobile network. Call your mobile service provider to know how to get that.

As I said earlier I've subscribed to BB Data Plan. BBM, Internet, Y! messenger, etc. working just fine.

Confirmed with other friends (not 9900), they are subscribing similar plan with same service provider and these application works without any issue.

As per Service Provider, there is nothing they can do as BBM and net is working. They do not have any solution.

Still looking forward for the solution.

Yes! Viber works fine on WiFi networks!

And do you have friends on the same 3G network as you are, who are using Viber just fine?

If so, you need to contact your cellular provider, and see what the problem could be.

Yes, I've friends on same 3G network.
I've contacted cellular provider, but they say when BBM and net is working that means problem is not from their side. There must be some technical issues with handset which may require some setting.
Therefore, I raised this query on this forum but it seems BB techies on this forum do not have solution too.
Will look for few more days otherwise this BB will go on sale!

As we said, if Viber does work on WiFi fine, but it fails to function on your cellular network, then it seems like this isn't a Viber problem.
