Apps not recognized by desktop sw

This is a new BB - upgrade from Curve 8310 to 9360

I want to add a language pack, and remove a different one, but when I open applications in the desktop software, the only apps that show up are the ones I've recently installed. How do I get the OS, Languages, etc to show up so that I can add/delete?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

 

Download and install, to your PC, the BB OS package you wish to work with:

If you select the exact OS that is already running on your BB, the Desktop Software will expand what it offers to you in Applications. If you select a different OS package, then it will offer to change your installed BB OS to what you installed to your PC.

 

If you choose an OS package that comes from other than your BB's originally manufactured-for carrier, be sure to delete, from your PC, at least one (and possibly two) copy of VENDOR.XML...the package will not work with your BB if you do not delete that file(s).
