Hello all!

I have a question about attachements;

let's say I'm in a region in the world were I don't have internet acces for my laptop (wireless, broadband),

but I can receive e-mail on the Blacberry.

Someboby is sending me an e-mail with an attachement; lets say PDF file. I can look on the phone but How I can download this message in the laptop?

Re: Attachements

for attachments : you can save them on your device.
=> on the memory card
=> on the internal device memory.

then you can copy the file to your PC :
from the memory card by just using windows Explorer
from the internal device memory by using the Desktop Manager + Media Manager.

I strongly recommend the solution using the memory card.

beware ! if you later want to view the PDF from your Blackberry :
if your OS is not 4.5, you can't view the PDF from the memory, you have to keep the message with the attachment.
o know your OS version :
home screen >> options >> about
I have 4.2.2.

did you know you can also use your blackberry device as a modem for your laptop ?
then you can go on the internet on your laptop.

the configuration is called "tethering". there are many discussions about that on the forum detailing how to do that. It took me about 10min to configure my laptop.

Re: Attachements

Hi Xandrex!

thanks for details; I will do it just like you say!

I have also 4.2.2

I will look after that  "tethering" to see how i can use the phone as modem;
