Text messages do not use the same signature as emails do. You can however setup an AutoText entry to use for your signature.
Go into Options>AutoText press the menu key and choose New. Choose the key combination to replace (you could use sg for signature?) and under With, put your desired signature in. So in this example, you would type "sg" at the end of your SMS message to enter your signature. Keep in mind, SMS messages are limited to 160 characters.
Let me know if this works for you!

I have a BlackBerry Torch 9800 and the only way I could find to add an actual "auto message" to a TEXT message (not an email) is on my phone I have an App. (my service is through Roger's) which I can keep track of my service usage. This App. also has a service that allows me to type in, and attach to a TEXT message, an "auto message/signature" to all text messages I send out.
I hope this helps,
