Auto-complete feature or application

Dear All,

I would like to ask if there is an auto-complete feature or a desktop application that I can install to give me auto-complete.

To make things clear, I know about auto-text, and spell checking features. I am asking about something like TypeBooster , but for blackberry Curve 8320. I want to have suggestions for word as I type a message or in any place.

Thanks in advance

Re: Auto-complete feature or application

As you know already, that is not available in the native OS of the BlackBerry, except in the Suretype models (81xx) running OS 4.3+ which do have Predictive Typing.

I am not aware of a third party application which does that, either.

Re: Auto-complete feature or application

While the 8330 does not have predictive text, you can add auto text features which can enable you to type a couple letters, press the space bar and it will complete your chosen work.  For example I type....wrud press the space bar and "What are you doing?" is spelled out.  Just go to options>auto text>menu key (left of trackball)>new and add what abbreviation you want.

Hope this info helps.
