Remember, Safe Mode is a diagnostic tool, not intended for long term use. Further, since Safe Mode suppresses the auto-launch of various things, if you depend on those things for your daily usage, then they won't now be working. Safe Mode is intended to help you diagnose problems and thereby come up with a resolution. Safe Mode is not intended for normal operation.

If you conducted a restore of data, and the data is what was corrupt and causing your issues, then perhaps it could have fixed it. But, if your root problem was app or OS corruption, then data restoration would do nothing to cure that.

Oh, I restored her in safe mode, but as soon as it finished restoring I pulled the battery and restarted her back in normal operation....In any case, Happy Dance, and Thanks.  mike
