Automatic Reboot......i need help

I just bought Bold 9780  two days ago, after updating facebook and twitter apllication. 

the device has been rebooting automatically irrespective of what i am doing.

Does the device stay up long enough for you to delete those apps? If so, do it and see what happens.

I have not tried to delete the app. I just updated facebook, twitter and BBM.do I need to delete those app

You say the problem started when you updated the apps. Chances are some glitch happened. Delete the apps and see what happens. If all is well after you do, then install one and test, and then install the other, and test. If deleting the apps doesn't stop the restarting, then we will look for other solutions.

Hello,

 

If you don't remove the apps from your device, make a safe mode boot and check the results.

 

1. Remove akku and wait some seconds 

2. Insert the akku and push and hold the escape button 

3. If you can see a message from safe mode the booting is done

 

Now you can check the function from your device without 3rd party applications. This helps me as often.

It's the back button, right of the track pad/track ball.

Sorry for my late answer. The escape button is right from the trackball. It is the backward key.
