Automatic not automatic?

Just wondering - I have the option for Automatic Backup every 30 days checked.

It is not fully automatic - it prompts before doing it. The problemis that the prompt is often "behind" another window and so with no response, then the backup as well as the sync does not occur.

When I check Automatic, I fully expect it to be that - no prompts required. At least give me an option to go past the prompt.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Automatic not automatic?

I don't know of anyway to change that behavior.

Sounds like you are actually trying to make a suggestion to RIM. This is not the place for that. This is user-to-user support forum. To make suggestions to RIM, send an e-mail to bbsuggestions@rim.com

Re: Automatic not automatic?

Actually, you can disable this confirmation box.  If you open Desktop Manager go to:

Device - Device Options - Backup (tab)

You will see a checkbox for "Skip confirmations on:" and you probably want to check off "Automatic backups".
