BAD LED LIGHT ON BOLD 9900

Hello everyone,

 

my led light just stopped working and I have tried all the tricks I know about turning it on from settings to bedside mode, I even went further to do a self test from "Options> about >test " but it failed when it got to led light. I think its a hardware problem but would however appreciate help from anyone with more experience, perhaps there's something I missed.
