BB 9900 turn off Content control: how to?

[ Edited ]

I'm receiving the message:

"RESTRICTED ACCESS

You are not able to access this service because Content Control is in place."

I need to turn this off but haven't found how to.

Please help!

No, it's a personal phone. Vodafone have said that the content control filter has been turned off at their end and so the block must be coming from my phone.

Can you try the steps at

http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/viewdocument.do?noCount=true&externalId=KB29344&sliceId=1&cm...

and see if you can disable the options there?

This is for app world right?  I forgot to ask!!

Look at your Options > Security > Security Status Information, what is there?

Look at your Options > Security > Parental Controls... anything?

Look at your Options > Security > Encryption... what is enabled there?

Re: BB 9900 turn off Content control: how to?

Ha! No worries! It's actually for my browser, and I've tried the App World one and it was already on the 18+ setting. That would seem to me to only affect App World, though, so going to try what J Sanders says and get back to you guys.

Re: BB 9900 turn off Content control: how to?

For 'Security Status Information' it just says *No Services*

I don't have a Parental Controls section to go into!?

And in 'Encryption' nothing is enabled at all.

Really not sure what to do!!!
