My BB Bold 9780 is not getting switched. It got switched off sometime during night and i have plugged in to charger since morning which is now like 5 hrs of charging. i tried to take out the battery & put it back but didnt work. Kindly suggest..

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB):
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem.

I tried this process as you mentioned..up till step number 5. After that i tried to switch it on but didnt help.
Should i plug in charger after reinserting the battery ?? or just leave the cell alone for 2 hours??
Pls suggest..meanwhile will try to test with another BB battery..
