BB Bold 9780 freeze when trying to backup or delete contects

Hello all , 

 

I am facing a problem with the Bold 9780, with Software version 6.0.

I am trying to backup the device in order to wipe it and reinstall the backup again . However it always freeze when i am doing the backup and when it is almost done ...it just hangs  !!!!

 

any help to troubleshoot it please .

Are you having any issues with your device as you're trying to wipe your device ?

 

Regarding Backup , you can perform a selective backup also , Or you can try this >  Connect your device and run BlackBerry Desktop Software for windows , In desktop Software Click on Device > Delete Data > Choose Selected data > Scroll down to Social feed Database > Mark it and and click on Delete . Once that Database is deleted try to perform a full backup. it may work.

I have already tried the selective backup , but same.
you other suggestion is not possible because i don't have the Social feed Database .

Any other suggestion ...

So you don't have any Social feed DataBase ! Can you remove your Media Card and then try to do the  backup again .

i have tried it won't work . 

now i got 

there  was a problem with the device communication during deletion. Verify that the device is truned on and aonnected  !!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

what is the workaround ?

Are you using your main USB port ? Or I suggest this Article :
