BB Bold 9900 and 9720 cannot find Enterprise Activation

Hi All,

I am trying to set up an Enterprise Activation for one of our overseas users. She has two phones  "BB Bold 9900 and BB 9720".  She does not have the Enterprise Activation option.  I asked her to download the Enterprise Activation  application from "App World", but after downloading, it is telling her that the software is not supported. I am stumped here.

Currently I have her set up with Exchange Activesync, but it is my understanding that will not sync calendars and contacts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated here.

Re: BB Bold 9900 and 9720 cannot find Enterprise Activation

First, ActiveSync will not work on a Bold 9900 or 9720. You need BES in order to use the Enterprise Activation.

Second, on many service plans you need a BES plan in order to have the Enterprise Activation available in the menu. You'll need to make sure her wireless service plan supports BES. Many are just personal plans and EA is not supported.

Hope that helps.
