Working on Friday but today doesn't. I last synced at home. Today at work, when I click the BB Desktop Manager I get the error message - "BB Desktop manager has encountered a problem and must close. Sorry for the inconvenience."
I tried rebooting and reinstalling Destop Manager. When I do it does start to sync but stops after going through the calendar and gives me the same error message again.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Are you using Outlook?
I had a similar problem due to a corrupted Outlook PST file. I had unistalled Desktop Manger and used pstscan.exe to fix my Outlook files. (pstscan.exe will be on your system, just run a search and include hidden folders/files). I reinstalled Desktop and all was well.

Just found that I could sync after deleting a second e-mail account that I had on the Pearl. Must have been confusing or something but now seems to work OK both on work PC and home PC.
