BB Desktop crashes all the time

I completely uninstalled and reinstalled and it's always the same as soon as I open it.

 

EventType: clr20r3  P1: rim.desktophelper.exe  P2: 6.1.0.36

P3: 4eb85344  P4: microsoft.practices.composite  P5: 2.0.1.0

P6: 4eb851a2  P7: 12b ...

 

I checked it's a known issue, but is there any solution for this?

Hi - where is this documented as a known issue (I get the exact same EventType but different details otherwise)? I've been having this trouble since upgrading to the since-discredited version 7, then attempting to downgrade back to 6.1 (although the P2 field seems to indicate that my machine still thinks it's running version 7).

Guys read this post! It worked for me! you have to clean registry and make reboots if you want to roll back to 6,1 because of some registry keys!
