BB Desktop does not recognize Torch 9800

Hello,

I have a new BB Torch 9800 and Desktop Manager 6.  Have synced (Outlook) with no problem for several months.  Suddenly Desktop Manager (on an XP PC) does not recognize my BB device??  Any help on what may have caused this or how to troubleshoot?

 

This is my first post.  Any suggestions re: how to post effectively are also welcome.

I have MS Outlook 2010 on Win XP. I have deinstalled all my BlackBerry software including old versions of DM via: start, configure and software. Reboot your PC. Download DM 5.01, reinstlalled it, reboot and via DM you search for the latest update ( at least 6.1.0.35) of DM via "Update software" and then I could reconnect to MS Outlook 2010 callender and contacts.
