I had been using my Torch 9800 for over a year, syncing to my Outlook 2010 contacts with no issues. A couple weeks ago, I did an upgrade to the Torch and since the BB Desktop cannot connect with the Torch.
I am able to see the Torch from My Computer (Lenovo Intel Win 7 Pro 64 bit) and connect to it as a USB drive, and drill down through folders. So I don't see how it coul;d be a bad USB cable. I finally uninstalled all BB/RIM software and started over from scratch reinstalling Version 7 of the Desktop. Same results - cannot conect.
