Tried that already. The BlackBerry Wallet can be installed through the BlackBerry Borwser, Computer Browser, or App World.
The problem is when I go through the BlackBerry or Computer browser it says that BB Wallet is not compatable. That may seem like a "Duh" moment but shouldn't apps made for previous versions of the BB OS work with newer versions? This is the only app that I have that doesn't work. Even BB App World works.
I already sent an email to RIM's app email but haven't gotten a response back. The absolute last thing I want/will do is revert back to 4.7.
Do you think sending a direct message to one of the RIM guys on this forum will do anything?

How about this? Make sure the app is not installed on the device and is not archived by App World either. Clear the Event Log. Perform a web OTA download of the app (i.e., point the BlackBerry Browser to the JAD file URL). After the installation fails (as you claim), obtain the Event Log and post it here.

Will try, I just tried doing a restore of the applications with Desktop Manager and got the same message "This app is not compatable with your BlackBerry" as if it has some flag that states it can only be used for 4.7. I will try that though and post the log.

Ok, erased the archive and BB App World. Cold reboot than event log (log.txt), had an email sent to me with the link to BB Wallet. Got the "Device not supported" error in the browser (not install) and than event log (log2.txt). For good measure I added the result of "JavaLoader -usb dir"

Please try downloading the application outside of the App World, if you can. Also, if you have the COD file(s), you could also try installing them via JavaLoader to see if they work on your v5.0.0 handheld. JavaLoader doesn't care about handheld software versions or compatibility at all.

I had uninstalled App World before the first log. I installed it after trying to install BB Wallet from the Browser. I will try a couple other install combos to see if any work.

Still nothing, I tried uninstalling App World, loading a different one (figured it might reset the persistant data) and see if it would load then. Couldn't get the old app world to load. Then tried using the JavaLoader from the 5.0 Beta instead of the one from 4.7, still nothing. I still have not received a response from RIM App Support.

Please try not to involve App World at all. Can't you obtain the binary of this BB Wallet application and simply install it using JavaLoader without any involvement of App World?

I have backups of BB Wallet, every time I use JavaLoader to install them it shows up when I do the dir argument, the instant I unplug my BB the modules seem to "disappear" as if I didn't install them. Do you think I should try installing each module on it's own or if I should zip all 4 modules together and install like that?
