The apps suddenly stopped working and I cannot even connect to app world to reinstall. At first I got a message saying I wasn't connected to the network. I checked and am connected. I did a battery pull 3X and now the apps just stick and won't open fully. How do I fix this?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!!
With a strong carrier signal (e.g., NOT WiFi only), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
2) Resend Service Books
3) Batt Pull Reboot

I did register, twice now. But I have received no messages. Where would these come to?
As I said above:
I am unable to receive any messages on my phone since it is disconnected.
Then I'm confused, for in your first post, you said:
