BB does want to connect to pc

Hi,

I am a new user when it comes to BB's.

I always used to work with Windows Mobile Devices and never had issues.

Now when I stared using the device I was very happy.

But when I tried to Sync my Old data from Outlook I was unable to get the Thing to talk.

I installed DM 4.6 and 4.7 on a Windows XP sp3 and even tried on my new Windows 7.

in both cases I stumble on the same issue.

The manager sees the USB connection and shows a Pin.

When I turn to the DM I get NO PIN, even when I manualy set the settings to USB with Pin, it still says No pin but that it is connected.

In all options I am unable to perform anny action.

Please help me out as I have no Idea what to do annymore

Re: BB does want to connect to pc

I do not know what I did or how.

But I managed to solve the issue myself.

I unpluged the Sim and memory card, took out the batt for some time ( in my case it was 2 days).

Then I putback the Batt and when the device was booting up I pluged it in the computer before it finalized its setup.

Then It was recognized, and saw ther where updates to install.

Now it it working like it should.

I hope some else can use the explination for his issue.
