BB going off whilst at my PC?

Whilst receiving my emails.

Is that right? I thought the BB would go off informing me of emails when my PC was turned off or vice versa.

Or is this normal? I have the BB Red Curve.

Thanks.

Re: BB going off whilst at my PC?

Thanks for your reply but I have no idea of what you are talking about! We have a company that looks after our emails, they scan them then send them through,I know its via a pop 3 account. I just don't see the point of having to get the email through on my blackberry as well when I'm at my laptop at work??

Your Blackberry is setup to get all your email. The fact that you are at your PC receiving emails is lost on the BB device as he doesn't know where he is Smiley Happy

There is no option that I know of that lets the blackberry sense the PC or vice versa.

Does that answer your question, or did I miss something?

Sorry!
