BB messenger

In my bb messenger, I have grey box with a black phone in it and on top of the grey box in the right hand corner a red box with a white exclamation point. Does any one know what I have it and how to remove it?

When I click on it, it takes me to wi-fi to log in.

Re: BB messenger

You've just updated to BBM 7. The indicator is for the new BBM Voice calling feature. When e users with BBM 7 are connected via WiFi, you can initiate a voice call from a BBM chat. You should have a system message in BBM explaining this.

Re: BB messenger

This is a feature of this version of BBM -- you cannot remove the indicator.  If you find that you really want to get rid of the indicator, you would have to downgrade to an earlier version.  If you decide to do so, you'll need a link to a version specific for your OS version.  If you decide to go that route, please reply with your OS version. You can find it under Options > Device > About Device Versions. It will show as (approximately) "v7.1.0.214".
