BB protect "is not in your subscription"

Hi there !

 

I am here because i have a huge problem :

 

I am using a BB torch for year, using BB protect, and for a week, it says that it is not included in my subscription !

 

I called my telephone operator, and he said to contact Blackberry, because BB protect is included !

 

Actually, i used BB protect for months, and since i did a hardreboot, he does not work :s

 

May you please help me solving this issue ?

You might try deleting Protect and reinstalling.

 

  • Options > Device > Application Management > scroll to Protect and delete.
  • Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
  • Reinstall from AppWorld.

Still the same issue :s

 

I believe you need to know that i receive my mails, but i tried to connect to my operator's BIS, and he said that i have no BIS account, and when i am trying to create one via my PC, it says to create via the cell phone, but i don't know how to do so !

It says that my carrier is not supported .. But it used to work for months.. That's'weird !

  • Did you change SIM cards?
  • Is your BIS data plan paid up?
  • On your Manage Connections screen, click on the Services Status. What is the status of the BlackBerry Internet Service?

I have the same SIM card.
I don t know what you mean by BIS data plan, but i pay my carrier !
The BIS status is "mobile network"

hmmm. ok , that's "mobile network" is good.

 

Can you look at Options > Device > Application Management, what is the version of Protect installed?

The latest version, I believe, is 1.1.1.76

OK, can you try this again?

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
