Hiya i am micky and have just received my BB as a pressy from the family, works great and am getting the hang of it except for one thing.


I cannot change the ringtone that informs me that i have received a text message,the ringtone that comes on is the entertainer and it is driving me nuts, can anybody please tell me how to change it

Hello and welcome to the boards Mickey.


To change that sound just go into Profiles | Advanced. From here you can click into the "Active" profile. In the next screen you can go into the SMS category and change the In Holster/Out of Holster settings and the Tune that plays.
