BBM Issues with Torch

Hello,

 

I have a BlackBerry Torch and my provider is Telus (I'm from Canada). This past weekend my BBM stopped working. I would click the icon and the app wouldn't load. I tried restarting the device by removing the battery multiple times. I still had the same issue so I uninstalled the BBM app from my phone (not using Desktop Manager). When I went to BlackBerry AppWorld to try and reload BBM, it says that the program is still installed but my phone, desktop manager, etc. says that BBM is not installed.

I looked to my backups to do a restore but when I looked at the options, anything related to BBM (BlackBerry Messaneger, BGGroups) was not able to be restored. I've tried downloading the program from my PC from the BlackBerry website but the site keeps redirecting me to an "Unknown Error" page: with the message: An unknown error has occurred (EC )

 

Any help would be very appreciated, thank you!
