BBM Messenger

Question # 1. I am having difficulty installing the BBM messenger on my 9550. after downloading it wont install. I have tried several times and it doesnt work what am i to do.

 

Question # 2. I also have another BB9550 that has a password lock that I dont remember and cant get in to the phone because of it. How do I get around that problem

1. How are you downloaded BBM ... from where and then what do you do to install it?

 

2. No one knows your security password, only you do. Why can't you remember it?

To download BBM - 1. Use your BlackBerry browser to go to http://blackberry.com/blackberrymessenger and download/install the Messenger application. If it asks to go to AppWorld to download this, don't, just follow the link to download.

After installation and possibly another reboot, check your Instant Messaging Folder, or Downloads folder for the application.

Reset the ID from a computer:

, if you'd read his post, it was not the BBID that is locked, he said it was his password lock. There is no need to lead the user astray with erroneous information not applicable to his situation.

I down loaded the messenger from Blackberry app world via the usb to the phone

OK, do this, on the 9550, on the main screen, press and hold the MENU key a couple of seconds.

Do you see the icon for BBM?

I have followed the link as stated and done the down load and its stuck on a blue screen for the longest while now and all it his saying setting up BBM and nothing is happening. What do i do now
