BBM Not working

I have just upgraded My Bbm to 7.0 version and i clicked on it and all it was doing was saying "Setting up BBM" but the trouble is it has been doing that for an incredibly long time now about 2 hours. I have restarted my phone but nothings changed, it keeps on saying it.

 

PLEASE HELP! Much appreciated!

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.

Are you connected to the mobile network or to a Wi-Fi network when trying to setup BBM? If you are using the mobile network, could you please retry the setup while connected to a Wi-Fi network and let me know the results?

I'm having the same problem as Elliza543,but mine keeps saying a temporary BBM server has occured on a blue screen and also keeps saying retry,I've tried pulling my battery and even deleting and re-installing but still same problem,please help me Smiley Sad

I'm having the same problem. Everytime I try to launch bbm it keep freezing at the "setting up bbm" screen I've tried leave for a couple of hours and nothing has changed. Please help me

Hey surayyah,

 

Welcome to the support community!

Could you please retry the setup while connected to a Wi-Fi network? If that doesn't help, I recommend verifying with your mobile network provider that your data plan currently includes internet browsing.

Do you still receive this message when setting up BBM while connected to a Wi-Fi network? If you do, I recommend verifying with your mobile network provider that your data plan includes internet browsing

If you have a memory card for your phone, try removing it before rebooting your BBM again.
