BBM after switch/unlocking of phone from Bell to Rogers

Hello:

Bit of a complicated process of events.

I have a Z10, and just unlocked my Rogers Bold 9900 so my wife could switch from her Curve to the Bold.  Everything is working fine (e.g., can text, call others, contact info swtiched over, etc.).

However, after I transferred all contacts over, I cannot get her phone to send BBM's to my Z10 successfully. She can receive BBMs from me on my Z10.  She can send and receive BBM's to/from her other contacts, not just me.

I had to delete and reinstall BBM after unlocking the phone and transferring her SIM card because BBM was set up under my account/profile.  Could this be causing some confusion for the phone? Almost like it's trying to send a BBM to me, but it gets sent to itself (the Bold is trying to send a BBM to itself)?

Any idea what I can do to fix this?

Re: BBM after switch/unlocking of phone from Bell to Rogers

As a follow up, I was able to get the Bold to receive and send BBM's.  I ended up deleting BBM, then reinstalled it. That did the trick.

However, my other problem is that my wife's profile picture is showing up as my profile picture as well.  So when she changes her BBM profile pic, it gets applied to my BBM profile as well as hers.

Do you think a security wipe would correct this if I then went and restored the phone to its settings from earlier before doing the switch from the Curve to the Bold?
