Hi, I'm in Dubai, but my phone is registered in the UK (and on a UK service plan). It all worked fine when I got here, but since last night I don't receive any bbm's or emails anymore. I haven't changed any settings or whatsoever; internet and facebook work fine, so I figured it can't just be a data issue.

I cannot tell for sure from your post...are you using international roaming, with your home network SIM still inserted? Or, are you using an unlocked BB with a local SIM for services? Or, are you perhaps using WiFi for data services?
If you are using international roaming, there is sadly little you can do. International roaming must be properly configured before you leave your home network, and typically cannot be adjusted while you are actually roaming. But, you need to ring up your home carrier to find out more as they control this.
If you are using a local SIM, then it should be a simple matter of re-registering your BB on the network. With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
2) Delete and Resend Service Books (pre-BB10 devices only)
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try deleting and re-adding your configurations for the affected email accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.
If you are on WiFi, then it actually should work fine. You can try rebooting your device (as described above...only that step), and you also should try other WiFi networks to see if perhaps the one you are attempting to use has a problem.
