BBM issue

When I open up mu bbm all i'm seeing is "Associating BBM with your Blackberry ID" and this is draining my battery as its a running application. Please help. I have to keep recharging my phone every 2hours or so.

No I do not have a bbm plan as I dont use bbm. That is why I cannot understand why the app is running continually.

Hi nattz

Well .. If you don't have a spcific data plan and you don't use BlackBerry messenger application then best option is to delete that application, as its draning your battery as you claimed.

To do that On your Homescreen Go to Options > Device > Application Management > locate BlackBerry messenger application then delete it from that list. After that perform a battery pull restart by removing the battery while your device is Powered On .

Whenever you wish to use BBM you can activate BIS and download BBM again.

So try those steps to resolve your current issue .
