BBM not working?

i went to bed last night and bbm was working completly fine it has frozen abit but was still working then i woke up this morning to send a bbm and its not working just comming up with the Red X as if u have ran out of data plan i havent ran out of data as my internet is still working? ive restarted my phone twice and it has made no difference? i need help to sort this out as soon as posible because i need to contact people


any suggestions?
