BBM problem

I have a Curve 8520 with Blackberry messenger version 4.6.1.290.

 

Over the last week, I have been unable to communicate with one of my BBM contacts, and vice versa. Please note that I or my contact have made not changes to our settings recently.

 

I then deleted the contact, and sent a request for them to add me to BBM again, which they accepted. However, now I have a Pending(waiting for authorization)with a yellow question mark next to their name.

 

How do I fix this? Please help.

Hello shalala8,

 

Thank you for your question regarding the issue you are expereincing with communicating with a specific BBM contact.

 

Are you able to communicate with other contacts? If so, please ask this contact to attempt removing and re-adding you from their contact list as a test. If they are unable to do so, they will need to contact their mobile service provider for  further investigation.
