I upgraded the software on my 9900 this morning. After startup, the BB Apworld icon was missing. I downloaded it and reinstalled a newer version. I also had to upgrade my BB ID.
After logging in, there was an upgrade on BBM. I downloaded it and restarted phone.
The BBM icon/shortcut is missing. Not in any of the folders of the main screen.
Can ANYBODY help please

OK, I got it sorted.
Here is what I did:
I connected my phone to desktop and went into application manager. I removed BBM completely via my pc and let it start up again.
When it re-connected, there was a red asterisk, stating something about downgrading the OS to V7.0. I did that and when the phone started up, my bbm was back.
Did not take down details on the message, as I was fiddling around, but up and running again.
