FYI...unless you are manually doing so, your contacts are not even on your SIM card, so that's not relevant. Before any WIPE actions, you naturally want to do a special one-time backup (in addition, of course, to the regular backups that you take).

I have the same problem but i dont understand the out of box experience but i can only use my fone when someone calls me
