BIS activation issue



I am unable to activate BIS on my BB 9670 (CDMA) device. Internet is working proper on that device.

But, whenever i try to configure an application(this app requires BIS be configured and activated on the device) , it gives error 'Failed. please check that you have configured your device with the blackberry internet service and contact your provider if you did not..'


I talked to customer care about this issue and to confirm about wheather BIS is activated on the device or not.

According to them, BIS has already been activated on the device. But, still not able to use BIS on it.


I have followed the steps as per mentioned in the URL: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Device-software-for-BlackBerry/BIS-is-not-working/td-p/518230... but issue still occurs.


Please help ASAP.

To clarify, you have the upper case 1XEV with the BlackBerry logo for your Signal?


Can you provide the name of the application that is producing the error? 


Would you be able to private message me with your PIN as I can do some investigation on my end?

Yes, I have the upper case 1XEV with Blackberry logo on the device.
