BLACKBERRY IMS NOT WORKING! HELP!

so i've owned this blackberry torch 9800 for about a month now and it's starting to annoy the **bleep** out of me. 

 

for the first week i didn't have a specific data plan (as the phone was a gift from my mother and she had yet to set one up) so i bought one of those deals on the blackberry that allowed me internet access for a week to bridge the time between getting 3g internet access. anyway, it was all fine and dandy but after the week was up, my bbm stopped working. it simply refused to send out any messages whatsoever and would instead show a clock to the side of the message, signifying that it was saying: DUDE, I'M TOTALLY NOT SENDING OUT YOUR MESSAGES. 

 

soon after i also realized that my msn had stopped working, as well as my aim, googletalk, yahoo, and pretty much every im app i owned would not log in. i could still use my 3g internet service, even when not connected to wifi-- aside from this issue my blackberry is totally fine (save for the occasional freezing up and whatnot). 

 

so i've pretty much tried everything. soft reset, hard reset, turning off all connections and rebooting them, uninstalling then reinstalling my ims, and i just restored my blackberry a few minutes ago. 

 

i genuinely have no idea whether this is a service issue or technical one but this is the third week i'm going without my ims and while i'm not constantly on them it feels like a serious thorn in my side not having the ability to use them at all. 

 

NOTE: when i restored my blackberry all seemed fine save for a message that popped up saying "uncaught exception: net_rim_bb_messaging_app(151) is not responding; process terminated"

 

SERIOUSLY I WILL OFFER LIMBS FOR SOMEONE TO GIVE ME A SOLUTION ;A;

You dropped your BlackBerry data plan after a week?

 

You must have this plan on your mobile provider account for BlackBerry Messenger, and most all other data functions like your MSN messenger, email, etc. Those service will NOT work without, and that is expected.

 

Call Orange and have the BlackBerry-specific data plan put back on your account.
