Back up

I am replacing a faulty Blackberry Pearl with the same model 8100 but the 'restore' on the Desktop Softwear cannot be completed.  Also the address book is greyed out!  Can anyone help??   Thanks

Hello SAMNE and welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.

 

What happens when you go to restore the back up file? Are you getting an error message? If so, what is that error?

 

As for the Address Book being greyed out, did you use the wireless contact sync feature with your email account? If so, you would need to re-enable the contact sync when you add the email account to this device.
