Backlight works sometimes

The backlight on my keyboard seems to have a mind of it's own....sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. There doesn't seem to be any pattern as to when it works or not. I'm pretty sure this isn't normal, but I thought I'd ask before I take it back to the store. Would this be a problem that should be covered under warranty, I've only had the device for about 2 months.

Thanks for any help

Re: Backlight works sometimes

I've had the exact same problem with my new curve.  I'm on my third one now and it is doing the same thing. So far the only thing I found to work is to do a soft reset.  If you find out the answer please let me know.

Re: Backlight works sometimes

I don't know if this is coincidence or what, but, after reading a couple other posts here about the backlight, I turned the auto-dim feature off and I haven't had the problem with inconsistant light, it works as it should all the time.....
