Backup hangs using Desktop Manager 5.0 (and 4.7)



I have a Blackberry 9630 (on Telus) running OS Whenever I try to backup my phone using DM (as well as with the previous version 4.7xx) I get a window that reads "Transfer in progress" but nothing happens -- the window just hangs. The progress bar doesn't advance at all. I've even tried backing up individual components (ie. Address book) and I get the same thing.


I found a number posts suggesting that I clear out the browser cache or do a hard reboot, but that hasn't helped in my case.


I haven't tried re-installing the OS (hopefully that's just a last resort). The only other factor I think of is that I imported all of my data from my old 8130 into my 9630 (without any problems).


Any thoughts?
