Bad device record set

I'm having a consistent problem with PocketMac SyncManager, related to Bad Device Records being set.  Although there is a bit of variation in the error message, here's the latest one.  

 

"Unexpected error: Bad device record set.  Check that OID values are unique across records."

 

This appears twice in sequence, preceded by [09:33.43.395].  

 

 First, what are OID values?  I've been unable to find them in my searches.  

 

Second, how can I make this go away?  I've upgraded PocketMac SyncManager to version 1.2(1.4).  I'm running Entourage 2008 and Mac OS 10.4.
